Wife Maybe, Dog Never

Bush has brought in the Texas supremes to defend poor, harried, Harriet. The Chief Justice assures us she has "common sense" ( code for : would make a good farmer) and that" he would trust her with his wife and with his life." Now imagine what unintelligent Texans would say. You couldnt make this stuff up.

Planetary motto for the last century: Kill Your Children. Head over to neo-neocon.blogspot to see conservative warriors lash out at the concept of pacifism, Spartans standing atop the mountain of corpses and feeling all tingly inside. Im a bit jealous of the crowd she can draw but frightened as well, it's like standing inside the Roman Coliseum.

Gov.Haley Barber is trying to console his Christian base that re-building the ex-floating casinos on land is a good thing. They are "the backbone" of the Gulfcoast economy and bring his state 360 million in tax revenue. Wellll.. since you put it like that...

David Sirota writes in a long article that the "left" is stricken by Partisan War Syndrome ( on which I agree) yet in the thousand word essay on ideological shortcomings and cowardice he never once mentions the word CAPITALISM. C'mon Comrade!
Thanks to John for the tech help, assuming this link works.

Nice point on the Casinos. I love how portions of the lottery go to help the poor that pay for the tickets. Strictly speaking, there isn't a wholel ot we can do about gambling, but I'm pretty sure there is a special place in hell for those who make millions on ripping off the poor.

Wait a minute...

Oh, and if you haven't heard the Dead Kennedy's song "Kill the Poor" you need to. I think that might be a good slogan for the last century. It might be hard to get a hold of, but I have a copy. I don't think Jallo Biafra--the lead singer--would mind if I got you a copy since he would dig your politics.

I do need some new music, Eric,"Blowin in the Wind" just doesnt stir them up like it used to.I heard him speak and was pleasantly surprised at how articulate he was. Here in Montana (as in many other places)Native Americans have found a niche in capitalism with "gaming", selling fireworks and cigarettes etc. on reservation land. They are one of our poorest communities, despised by local bigots as "prairie niggers".All across the state there is electronic gambling ,dimly lit poker machine casinos, often filled with the very people who can't afford to lose. The machines are in every gas station, Shop and Go etc. and are a major source of state revenue.

Punk gets a bad wrap. The early stuff was incredible in terms of lyrics. I can't say I always agree with Biafra, but he is a great lyricist. It's pretty awesome you got to see him.

As for gambling, it's not as if our government makes any of its money in ways that are on the up and up. Still, gambling is especially disconcerting and we're not going to do a thing about it.

Should I email you some of that music? If you have a gmail account I could just send the first couple albums.

Haha it's okay. I don't know if you'd be able to find anything. Check out "Fresh Fruits for Rotting Vegetables", "Plastic Surgery Disasters" and "In God We Trust Inc." Those are the first three and best albums.

It might be worth it just to check out the lyrics. A simple google search will help you there.
