You're half right Beak. It's not too many benefits that's killing growth, its too many regulations. Lower them substantially, by about 70%, and lower the corporate tax rate to 14% while reforming the tax code so that you collect every penny of that (as opposed to allowing select companies like GE to get away with paying nothing)and the economy would soar. There would be more than enough for everything and everybody, including entitlement, with just a little tinkering around the margins.

I've already been through it with you Ducky. Nothing's changed. Cut taxes to 28% flat for all private income levels, 14% business tax, slash regulations across the board by seventy percent, reduce military spending as well as all other government spending, raise minimum wage by about three dollars an hour and eliminate deduction, refunds, loopholes etc. In no time flat there'll be plenty of money for everything. Including entitlements, by the way, with maybe a few minor adjustments at most.
But you know and I know you're not interested in anything like that, you want to destroy capitalism and install socialism. That's why there's no way you'll ever support anything that might work to solve our problems, even if it would make the average person happy, healthy, and prosperous. It's just not in your DNA to not want to destroy capitalism and replace it with socialism. At least have the intellectual honesty and integrity to admit that.
