It always comes down to this for Democrats. Bitch and moan, hold your nose and choose the lesser of two evils so you can get back to bitching and moaning. Like a prostate exam, it only takes a few minutes. There's a great piece in Harpers on Mormon economics. They hate taxes but tithe 10%.
I just realized that Rick Perry is Fes Parker, the actor who portrayed Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett, who I think died at the Alamo! Like Ronald Reagan, the imagery is far more important than any words they might try to speak.
So the liberal/progressives start the painful rationalizing and writing checks to campaigns because, hey, what else is there? Here is a perfect example from a thread over at Truthout:

Take the new Trade Agreements with Columbia,Panama and Korea, (ALL BAD in my opinion) BUT with the Dems, At least the workers who will lose their jobs due to these treaties will be compensated!!!!! this may not be enough of a differance for ELITISTS... but If I am one of those workers it's better than NOTHING!
Which is what the Republicans will give them!

And I'm actually impressed by these freshman House conservatives, drawing yet another line in the sand and fuck the markets. So wonderfully naive, they believe they were elected to represent their constituents and, by God, that's what they are doing. What radicals could never achieve, exposing the State/Capital nexus and undermining the global system, they are doing unintentionally with that born-again fervor. It's a beautiful thing. I don't have to do a thing but watch them demonstrate that capitalism doesn't work. Compare that principled stand (pay as you go) with these pussy corporate liberals who just write bad checks.

You mean it won't get fixed if Elizabeth Warren beats Scott Brown?
I used to think something like that would be constructive.
But Beak's blog buddies are going nuts and getting upset that the poor aren't living in the abject poverty they deserve.
They're plenty pissed about Elizabeth Warren claiming progressive taxation is not class warfare. Damn commie.

Progressive taxation is a commie ideal. It's class warfare, and property theft, to say nothing of being fundamentally unfair. Let's see, hey Mr. businessman, we're going to tax you at twice the rate we tax your employees, plus you have to supply all this cool shit to them, and on top of that we are going to regulate you so severely you won't really live any better than your employees, because that just wouldn't be right.
Fuck Democrats, fuck the unions, fuck the commies, and fuck the government. Invest? Yep, I'll do that, in a nice little condo in the Caymans.

Will the person who venerates the clueless killer of children and women and did not know what to do with a bar of soap stop whining about Davy Crockett. Sorry, but Davywas never lost in the woods and died fighting as opposed to Che who surrendered when surrounded by two soldiers.

Actually Beak, its been reported that Crockett and Che's demise are eerily similar. They both begged for their lives and explained that they were worth more to their captors alive than dead.
Crockett was a drunkard and a womanizer.

The reports of Crocket's death are based on speculation after reading General Cos's diary. In the case of Crockett were the details true he had been at the end of a last stand against overwhelming odds. This is not quite the same as being surrounded by two soldiers and having a loaded weapon. Che is and always will be a coward and a joke upon any examination of the actual facts of his life.
Sponge Bob Squarepants was a more capable warrior than Che.
